Most editions are by Richard Charteris. Parts are listed in choirs according to original clefs (G, C or F and the line on which the clef stands). Explicitly vocal parts are underlined, specified instruments are added in brackets. The scores use modern G and F clefs; parts have appropriate C-clefs for alto and tenor ranges but generally have octave-treble alternatives. Prices for instrumental works are for score and parts, including a figured bass part for each choir. Prices for vocal works are for scores. In some cases, chorus scores (usually costing £1.50) or VSc [meaning all the vocal parts + continuo] are available. If not, multiple copies of scores may be available at a discounted price. Instrumental parts for vocal works cost £1.00 each; for most works there is a figured bass part per choir.
